The West Bengal
Biodiversity Board has constituted 10 BMCs in the State at Panchayat
Samiti and Municipality levels till date and has initiated PBR
activities at Gram Panchayat, Mouza and Ward levels under these BMCs.

Futigoda G.P. under Jaynagar II P.S. (District - South 24 Parganas)
through a Project granted by the Department of Environment to
Lokmata Rani Rashmoni Ashram a NGO at Nimpith (South 24 Parganas),
though the BMC is yet to be constituted.
