S.O. 1146(E) - in
exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (3) of Section 1 of
the Biological Diversity Act 2002 (18 of 2003), the Central
Government hereby appoints the 1st day of October, 2003 as the date
of which the following section of the said Act shall come into force
namely : Section 1 and 2; section 8 to 17 (both inclusive); sections
48,54, 59, 62, 63, 64 and 65 of Biodiversity Act into force w.e.f.
1st October, 2003.
